In plain words: what we keep, who sees it, how payment works, what we count and how to delete your account.

This site does not ask for your name or your email, and does not keep them.
With Google Analytics we count which pages are visited and which buttons are used, the approximate country, the language and the type of device. Below, you choose whether we count.
To book your trial class or a call, you open the Soy Fluent booking page on Google Calendar. What you type there is kept by Google and reaches the Soy Fluent team.
If you write to hanna@soyfluent.com, your message reaches only the Soy Fluent team. We use your email to answer you.

Your browser keeps your progress and your settings on your device, so the app opens where you left it.
With your account we keep your name, the email you type, your goal, your level, your progress, the lessons you finish, your points (XP) and your streak.
If you take 1 to 1 classes, we also keep your classes and their notes, your conversation with your tutor, including the pictures sent in it, and the questions you leave for your class.
Your voice recordings are not kept or sent to Soy Fluent. To recognise what you say, your browser may use its own speech service.

You see everything that is yours.
Your tutor sees your classes and the messages you send each other. The Soy Fluent team sees payments.
The Soy Fluent team also sees numbers for the whole app, such as how many accounts there are and how many lessons are finished, and a list of learners with their name, email, goal, level, lessons finished and plan.
We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.

Card and PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Your card details are seen by PayPal, not by Soy Fluent.
Transfers by Wise, Bancolombia, NuBank or Nequi go straight to Soy Fluent, and the team confirms they arrived.
The app keeps what you bought, how much you paid, how you paid, the state of the payment and, for a transfer, the reference you write. It never keeps card numbers.

Google Analytics counts your visits to the app only if you say yes to the notice.
Separately, if you have an account, every lesson you finish is recorded in the app's own database, even if you say no. That keeps your progress and gives us the app's statistics.

In Europe we do not count your visit until you say yes. Anywhere else, you can turn it off here whenever you like.
